Twenty three ohms and 115 dB sensitivity is the easiest combination to drive in this Sennheiser range. A phone drives the HD 569 to full volume with no amplifier, which together with the closed cups and the inline microphone makes it the model aimed at use away from a desk.

The closed design isolates in both directions. That is what makes it usable on a commute, in an office, and in front of a live microphone where an open headphone would leak into the take.

Frequency range is 10 Hz to 28,000 Hz. The upper figure is lower than the open models in the range, which quote 38 kHz and above, though the audible consequence of that difference is far smaller than the difference the closed cup makes to the bass and to the sense of space.
