What You Get
- 1 × Samson C01 Large Diaphragm Condenser Microphone
- 1 × Samson SR850 Semi-Open Studio Headphones
Samson C01 Condenser Microphone
The C01 uses a 19 mm ultra-thin diaphragm and a cardioid pickup pattern, which focuses on the subject and reduces room noise. It has a heavy-gauge mesh grille and a solid metal body, comes with a shock mount, and needs 48V phantom power from an audio interface, mixer or preamp with an XLR microphone input.
- Recording vocals, podcasts, voiceovers, acoustic guitar, piano and percussion
- Suits streaming and YouTube content as well as music production
- Works with most audio interfaces and mixers that supply phantom power
Samson SR850 Studio Headphones
The SR850 is a semi-open studio headphone with 50 mm dynamic drivers on a neodymium magnet, covering 10 Hz to 30 kHz at 32 ohms with 98 dB sensitivity, so it plays at a useful level from a laptop, phone or interface without a separate headphone amplifier. A semi-open design gives a wider, more spacious sound for mixing and long listening, but it leaks sound, so use it for monitoring rather than tracking next to a live microphone.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the C01 need phantom power?
Yes. The Samson C01 requires 48V phantom power, which most audio interfaces and mixers with XLR inputs provide.
Is this a limited time offer?
Yes. The pack is offered at this price for a limited time.
Can I use the SR850 headphones while recording?
The SR850 is semi-open, so some sound leaks out. It is best for mixing and monitoring. For tracking next to a live microphone, a closed-back headphone isolates better.
