At the heart of the Subharmonicon lie two analog VCOs and four Subharmonic Oscillators, combining to create six powerful sound sources. The subharmonic tones are meticulously derived from the main VCOs, resulting in beautifully coherent chord shapes. Perfect intervals are easily achieved through onboard quantization, offering a choice of contemporary Equal Temperament, the celestial intervals of Just Intonation, or the unrestricted freedom of no quantization.

Breathing life into the Subharmonicon's unique chord shapes is a polyrhythmic duo of 4-Step Sequencers. These sequencers are driven by four Rhythm Generators, each capable of generating mathematical divisions of the master tempo. Layering multiple Rhythm Generators opens the door to complex polyrhythms, unveiling inspiring patterns and styles. Embrace the expressive capabilities of the dual Envelope Generators, the Moog Ladder Filter, and the analog VCA, enabling dynamic articulations that range from lush pads and ethereal textures to percussive elements and ritualistic rhythms.

While no patching is necessary to get started, the Subharmonicon's modular patchbay reveals endless possibilities for novel connections and innovative ideas. The 32-point 3.5mm patchbay can be interconnected, expanding the synthesizer's onboard capabilities. Additionally, it seamlessly integrates with other Eurorack-compatible gear like the Mother-32 and DFAM (MIDI Type A adapter included for DIN to 3.5mm MIDI input). Enjoy the flexibility of using it as a standalone synth with the included +12V DC power supply or effortlessly install it into any Eurorack system by removing the front panel.
