The keybed is the product

Eighty eight velocity sensitive, fully weighted hammer action keys, made to respond like an acoustic piano rather than like a synth keybed. On a controller with almost no other controls, that is the whole proposition: the money goes into the action instead of into pads and faders.

There is no aftertouch on this model. If aftertouch matters, the Hammer 88 Pro adds it along with a graded hammer action.

Deliberately few controls

Pitch and modulation wheels, a master fader and two assignable buttons. That is the full control surface. For a player who runs a piano or orchestral library and wants the keyboard to disappear into the performance, fewer controls is the feature, not the limitation.

For drum programming and DAW control, the Hammer 88 Pro adds 16 RGB velocity sensitive pads with note repeat, eight assignable knobs and buttons, and nine assignable faders.
