Lewitt LCT 140 AIR Condenser Microphone

The Lewitt LCT 140 AIR is a small diaphragm cardioid condenser with a 17 mm capsule and a 3 micron gold sputtered diaphragm, switchable between AIR and FLAT sound characters, with a -12 dB pad and an 80 Hz low cut.

Two sounds from one microphone

The AIR and FLAT switch changes the microphone's character. FLAT gives a neutral response for sources that need to sound as they are. AIR lifts the top end, adding openness to acoustic guitars, cymbals and strings without reaching for EQ afterwards.

That makes the LCT 140 AIR two microphones in practice, which is useful for a studio that owns only one small diaphragm condenser.
