IK Multimedia iRig Pro Quattro I/O Portable 4x2 Audio Interface

The IK Multimedia iRig Pro Quattro I/O is a portable 4x2 audio interface and mixer with four XLR and 1/4 inch combination inputs carrying 48 V phantom power, 24 bit and 96 kHz conversion, full MIDI I/O, and power from USB, a 9 V supply or four AA batteries.

Four inputs that run on batteries

The four combination sockets take microphones, guitars or line sources, with +48 V phantom power switched per pair. A stereo line input on RCA and 3.5 mm adds a phone, a player or a mixer feed.

The battery option is what makes this different from a desktop interface. It records four microphones on location, at an interview, in a rehearsal room or beside a camera, with no mains socket in reach. Four AA batteries run it, and the host port connects to a phone, tablet or computer.

Outputs and monitoring

Two balanced XLR outputs feed a PA or a camera. A stereo line output and a headphone output with direct monitoring complete the set, so the operator hears the inputs with no delay while recording. Full MIDI in and out are fitted as well.

Power and connection options

Power comes from USB, a 9 V DC supply or batteries. The USB host port connects to devices with USB-A, USB-C or Lightning, and a separate micro-USB input handles power.

Conversion is 24 bit at up to 96 kHz. The Deluxe Bundle adds IK's iRig Mic XY stereo microphones and accessories for anyone who wants the recorder and the microphones together.
