Gemini DJX-200 Professional Headphone

The Gemini DJX-200 is the lightweight closed-back model in the DJX range, 100 g on 40 mm drivers. It is the entry point for practice, casual cueing and monitoring on the move.

Light enough to keep on

At 100 g the DJX-200 is a third of the weight of the DJX-500, which is the difference you feel after an hour. The 40 mm driver covers 15 Hz to 20 kHz at 98 dB, with distortion under 0.1 percent and 30 mW of input power handling.

The 32 ohm rating means a phone, a laptop or a controller headphone socket drives it directly.

Where it sits in the range

The DJX-200 is the practice and portable option. The DJX-500 steps up to a 57 mm driver, 107 dB and 5 Hz to 30 kHz for club volume, and the DJX-1000 moves to 80 ohms for studio use. If the headphone is going to a gig, start at the DJX-500.

Connection

The cable is 4 ft with a 1/8 inch (3.5 mm) plug, and a 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) adapter is included for mixer and interface outputs. Copper voice coil, NdFeB magnet, closed-back housing.
