HEOS BUILT-IN

If you own an Echo, Dot, or other Alexa-compatible speaker, you can control the S970H with your voice. Speak commands to adjust the volume, skip tracks, switch inputs, and more.

HI-RES AUDIO VIA USB

Another way to play back music is via the from USB-A port. Connect an optional flash drive for Hi-Res Audio playback up to 24-bit/192 kHz, with support for MP3, WMA, WAV, MPEG-4/AAC, FLAC, and ALAC formats.

MULTI-SOURCE/MULTI-ROOM

Supporting two-zone audio, the Denon AVR-S970H will let you pair a second set of speakers in another room. One room can playback a source in 5.1, while the other plays in 2-channel stereo. When set up, each room can listen to their own audio source.

AUDYSSEY ROOM MEASUREMENT

Using the Audyssey suite of EQ software and included Audyssey measuring microphone, you can precisely calibrate your speaker system to your specific room. For even more fine-tuning and customization, you can change what's provided with the Audyssey MultiEQ Editor app.

BLUETOOTH TRANSMITTER

If it's late at night and you want to watch a movie without disturbing anyone, you can pair your favorite Bluetooth headphones to the AVR-S970H. As an added bonus, you can stream to headphones and use your speaker system simultaneously. This is ideal for letting someone who's hearing impaired enjoy via headphones, as everyone else listens through the speakers.
