The Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 32 ohm is the low impedance version of the closed back studio headphone, covering 5 Hz to 35,000 Hz, built to reach full volume from phones, laptops and portable recorders.

Made for sources without much power

A phone, a tablet, a laptop or a handheld recorder produces very little voltage at its headphone socket. The 80 and 250 ohm DT 770 PRO versions play too quietly from those. The 32 ohm version is the one that reaches a proper listening level from them.

If the headphone will mostly be used with a studio interface or a headphone amplifier, the 80 or 250 ohm version is the better choice.

Same closed back design

The acoustic design is shared across the range: a closed, circumaural build that surrounds the ear and isolates in both directions, and a frequency response of 5 Hz to 35,000 Hz. That isolation is what makes it usable on location, on a train, or anywhere the room is noisy.

Build

The spring steel headband and soft ear pads are designed for long wear, and the single sided cable keeps one side clear, which matters when one ear is taken off to talk.
