Antelope Zen Quadro Synergy Core Dual USB-C Audio Interface

The Antelope Zen Quadro Synergy Core is a bus powered 14 in, 10 out interface with four discrete preamps offering 75 dB of gain, up to 130 dB of conversion dynamic range, and an onboard FPGA and DSP platform running up to 48 effects with near zero latency.

Synergy Core effects

Synergy Core combines FPGA and DSP chips inside the interface to run modelled compressors, EQs, preamps, amps and cabinets. Up to 48 effects run at once with near zero latency and no load on the computer, so a singer can hear compression and reverb while recording and the session stays light.

Preamps and I/O

Four discrete six transistor preamps give 75 dB of gain. Two inputs take microphone or line level, and two more also take Hi-Z instruments. Two monitor outputs and two line outputs reach +20 dBu, and two independent headphone outputs allow separate mixes. ADAT adds eight inputs, and S/PDIF adds two more. The analog inputs and outputs are DC coupled.

Clocking and power

Antelope's 64-bit AFC clocking and up to 130 dB of dynamic range come from the company's background in studio master clocks. Two USB-C connections allow bus power, so the interface runs from a laptop on location.
