Adam Audio S3H Dual 7" Active 3-Way Midfield Studio Monitor (Single)

The ADAM Audio S3H is a horizontal three-way active midfield monitor with two 7 inch HexaCone woofers, a 4 inch dome and cone hybrid midrange and an S-ART folded ribbon tweeter, 1,350 W in total, reaching 30 Hz.

A horizontal three-way

Two 7 inch woofers flank a 4 inch carbon composite midrange and the S-ART tweeter behind the HPS waveguide. The layout suits soffit mounting and wide listening positions, and the two woofers give the S3H a lower reach than the S3V.

Power and DSP

Each woofer and the midrange has a Class D amplifier, and the tweeter has a Class A/B amplifier. The onboard DSP sets the crossovers and adds user equalisation and in-room tuning. Inputs are analogue XLR and AES3 digital, and the USB port is used for software updates and for controlling the DSP from a computer.
